Why me
15+ years across high-growth, international and PE-backed organisations. I connect, challenge and ask the questions others don't. As the African proverb goes: "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together."
HR only adds real value when it's rooted in business reality. I work closely with the CEO, MD, and MT to understand where the organisation is heading, and then build the people foundation that makes that next step possible.
Where do you want to go, and what's getting in the way? I ask the questions that get to the heart of it, the strategy, the structure, the gaps in leadership and capability that need to be addressed.
Growth requires the right leadership, clear accountability, and people who are set up to succeed in their role. I define what the organisation needs, in structure, in talent, and in leadership, to get to the next level.
Then we build, with clear priorities, defined responsibilities, and a people strategy that's owned by the business. Not HR doing things to the organisation, but HR enabling the organisation to grow.
Technology is changing faster than most organisations realise. Roles are shifting, skills are evolving, and the people who thrive tomorrow will be those who are developed today. I believe technology is a powerful addition to human capability, not a replacement for it. But that shift requires organisations to think ahead: what skills, behaviours, and experience do we need now, and what will we need in five years?
